I usually agree on making fun of IYC and only scanned the article but there is truth in Newsom pulling the NG from the border to work on the illegal pot growers.

 

I'm not one to defend Mike but overall the gist of that article is CORRECT, you guys can debate the details, motives or fluff of the article but that HEADLINE is accurate.

All I wanna know is this, does Newsom have any financial 'interests' in the success of the legal pot industry in his State?
I think a special counsel should be appointed to investigate that.

True but only California assigned them to counterdrug task force as the state is losing money to the illegal growers.

Newsom played a large role in getting pot legalized in the state.

The pot growers were doing damage to the forests before California made it legal.

 

Yeah, Army also in 1990 but did it come with a monitary benefit for the state.
