It seems like Paul mostly just picked on grant money for academic research he thought would make for good fodder. I’m not against academic grant money. It’s how we fund research that leads to breakthroughs and that advance human knowledge. Everything he compiled would be a 10% down payment on 1 F35. His report makes for good propaganda and is much more human sized than various defense and social welfare boondoggles, so I see why he did it.

The Trib did a series of articles on how he took the toilets out of his house and then claimed it was uninhabitable.
He ended up paying full taxes for all those years after being caught.

As you well know, rich folks in America don't go to jail for cheating on taxes. They just pay their back taxes and fine, say "sorry" or "oops" and go on their way. Only poor folks go to jail for tax cheating.
