In other TT news, reality show Gas Monkey Garage with Richard Rawlings is sponsoring Peter Hickman in this years TT. Lots of YouTube vids on it. I am not sure if this is a good or bad thing. Also live streaming from the TT this year. However I am not sure how the expanded general audience will react when the usual 3-5 riders die during the "show".

 

Those details about tuning the swingarm stiffness and running the OEM chassis are great.

 

Pretty amazing motorcycle, tuned and finished and fettled to a fairtheewell for its intended purpose, and the proof of the pudding is in the eating, it won. The level of preparation is obviously very high, and shows in the pics.

 

FYI when I attended the Ulster GP in 2019 I saw several teams with for sale signs on last gen 650 twins and superstock bikes with crazy low prices for fully prepped bikes with spares. Like 5k-7k euro. I am planning on the Classic TT this year and will be shopping. My guess is prices will be cheaper at the Irish races.

 

I love them all! The Flying Kilo is unreal elbow banging at 200+mph just mental.
