Great job. Jeffrey is an amazing rider, so if you finished right there with him, you are too!!!! 29 flat, you were moving. Congratulations, get some of that money.
Thank you Rob!!! Was an awesome weekend. He got me today. I didnt push hard enough on new tires and ge got a gap I close it a little then made mistakes pushing so hard and he opened it up. It was a great weekend!!
Also just sent my power commander off today. The bike wouldn't start Sunday morning so I took it all apart and unhooked the power commander. This also happened at CVMA in February. Finally got it started and it was missing on the front cylinder until you got it over 4000 rpms. It finally started to idol somewhat correct once warmed up. Took it out for the first race in lightweight twins and it was running hot around 210... the day before on it was around 190. This told me it was lean and my power commander is messing up again. Got beat to the line by Lance Newman, he walked past me on the straight which told me I was down on power. Got it back to the pits and unhooked it again(this fixed it last time for the time being) put it together again and still nothing. So it was still running rough when I went out for the warm up lap and knew I would just have to deal with it. Got a good start but just didnt get a good first lap in and Jeffery got a gap on me that I never was able to close. Congrats to him he rode the wheels off his bike!! I am hoping they able to fix it. I was very worried about it running so lean and hurting my motor.
Well that was fun. Very warm on Friday. Warm and "Willow Springs Breezy" on Saturday and Sunday. Tyler Linder's "LtWtTwins" track record still stands. Photo is "Bones" Dobson (#39 Black Shirt/3rd) Jeff (#91/1st) and Nate (#76/2nd) We were fortunate enough to have Jeff's dad Bob, and Nate's dad Tom, on hand for the festivities. Good times with good friends. Thanks for the tutorial Jeff ! Rob, we have an event shirt for you.
Holy $hit....Nate is tall Someone should change his user name to "Lurch" or some shit. Sounds like a good time at the Big Track.
Yes sir Tony and I are big boy racing as you can see....two dudes way to big for an SV650 and love it!!!
Awesome, dude. Hope you didn't take offense to that. Great upgrade, so happy for you and your wife and want to see you at the track in the future. Maybe I can even wrench for you.
I am the little guy on the Big Boy Racing: I am “only” 6’5” @ 235# BTW, ‘SHE’ was the only one clever enough to wear the promoters shirt to the podium ceremony ... (Scott Gray and Fritz Kling were the original big boys in roadracing...)
Interesting article from 1990 WERA Formula USA Championship @ Willow. Check out the lap times https://riderfiles.wordpress.com/2014/02/01/willow-springs-wera-f-usa-april-1990/
