Whatever that fairing is that is on JW's bike looks great. Not too big, you can still see part of the engine.
yeah man.....that is / was Charly P's son's fairing....little different than the one he runs, I think.....but he is Da-Fairing-King:up:
Basically big and huge is good...back in the late 1960's Dean Wixom and Jerry Branch spent about a month in the CalTech windtunnel and came up with the rather bulbous fairing Cal Rayborn used to thrash the Brits in the Match races with an iron barrel Harley...that's the fairing I put on my CB350 but it got in my way and I had to keep cutting it forward for more room until it was about half as long as it started out. JW has Jesse's old early 1970's Ducati fairing similar to the 1972 Paul Smart Imola winning Duck--that was pretty good too-he blew by Doug Bowie on the Nashville oval so convincingly Doug thought I had swapped my V1 motor in Jesse's dead stock CB350 GP bike.....big is good
hey Charly, your fairing worked great at Talladega, thanks again. i'm not sure if that tracks long enough to get any real benefit out of the fairing at speed but i wanted to use that round as a shakedown more or less to see how my fairing mounts worked out before the next round at the GNF. the only issues i found were that (i ride way forward on the bike and) i kept bumping my helmet visor on the windscreen. also, there was quite a bit of glare from the huge windscreen when riding directly into the sun. other than that, that thing was beautiful.
" Glass from the Past" has some very nice ones for Honda's. They are racers and good people also. They do alot with the cb160 folks in the northwest and have nice website to look at. I have purchased fenders for my hondas and a 900ss 1/2 fairing for my street thruxton. Not cheap but fair. wayne
Handlebar mount TZ 50 fairing? I have pics Also from National's Fiberglass 330-762-GLAS. As long as they're crashin',We'll be glassin'
