Locals or frequent visitors give me some suggestions. Wife and I are spending a long weekend and are looking for suggestions on where to stay, eat and don’t miss things to do. I’ve been to TTBC so don’t throw that out there, I don’t think the wife would appreciate being left alone all weekend.
Food trucks: Mighty Cone Gordoughs (brick and mortar location is good too, truck only has dessert) Torchies Tacos You can stand in line all day for Franklins Bbq or take a little drive to Salt Lick BBQ.
The original Chuys mexican (close to Austin Ducati- maybe see if they'll show you Nicky's Moto GP bike). Circuit of the Americas (maybe there's a track day, rent a bike!) downtown area is cool and lots of good restaurants. hard to find a bad one. maybe tour the Titos factory?
