Its not a tour. I'm renting motorcycles from my place in Montana.

If it helps, I've added a page called "The Area" which shows a few must-see places around Red Lodge.

@motion Damn fine gig, I wish you the best! I've never considered renting one of those bikes unless I had the good fortune to be in Napal. :D Now you have me thinking..... It sure would be easy to fly to Boseman and get you to pick me up. :Poke:

Beartooth Pass is much better via Morrison Jeep Trail.:Poke: Lots of places to camp atop the ridge if you make it up there, but bring a big gun and a trip wire with empty cans.

Billings is a lot closer to Red Lodge than Bozeman.

Thanks! You know Morrison... epic. I don't own anything that will make that trail. A 250 dirtbike would be best. I wasted the clutch on a brand new KLR650 within an hour trying it about 10 years ago.

We had the guys from Colin Edwards Boot Camp out last year and they had such a good time they're all joining us again this year...

I usually pay $400-ish from LA to BKK. Its usually a lot cheaper if you can get yourself to LA on a separate ticket then go from there.

serious question...do you have to have a US MC license to ride a bike in Thailand? asking for a friend

You do need an international drivers licesne, so the answer is Yes. On one day in Chiang Mai, I was stopped 6 or 8 times for license check.

I've got the rate cut down to $74 per day for longer rentals... Cheap!

Also added a "The Area" page with lots of riding ideas.

And, I have a driver willing to do the Billings airport-Red Lodge trip for just $60 each way... Cheap!

Response has been good. I have a couple bookings. Optimistic :)
