Anyone have background knowledge on these Chinese Bikes? I found them being sold here in the united states. reliability, knock offs of another bike?, Dealers license needed to sell them? Able to race in wera classes http://www.scooterdepot.us/motorcycles-p-1-c-41.html?gclid=CNDMlvWJ8q8CFYhM4AodFzkJYg
I saw those and humored the idea then got real. Parts (especially upgrades) are probably nonexistent, one crash and that’s all it'll likely take. I figure it’s probably cheaper to buy and dress an old ninjette that’ll survive a few crashes.
How much are they? If they would only make it more than 2 laps, that would be a dirt cheap class for WERA: Battle of the Craps.
LOL I just noticed that... Also just read the spects and max speed is like 65 MPH +/- 5mph...so the kaw 250 would cream this. I guess it's only good for a pretty city scooter.
I can see half the grid coming back on the crash truck. A nameless racer to the crash truck crew: "Nah man, you touched it last, it's your's now!"
Interesting. The company that is selling them is in California, but they're not legal for sale in California. whoops. -jim
