    I've got a set of cases and a stock crank (I *think*) from a bottom end - I'm using the transmission in a project but don't need the cases or crank

    If you find a motor you don't want please tell me. I would take a motor in need of rebuild/repair.
    I just ran mine with a rebuilt engine at VMD. It was on the track seven times in two days and I was quite impressed how well it did.
