a few friends of mine already have trailers and vans-but this I want to make my own-since I have a 96 Tahoe that i use as a 2nd car...

it will never fit unless you're gonna lay it on it's side. Buy a trailer......

I saw a full-dress Harley in the back of a Chevy Avalanche yesterday. I was impressed.

I once hauled my bike in the back of my 99 2-door Tahoe. I took the fairings and gas tank off, and then laid it on it's side. I put a few towels down and kept the windows open. Hardly any gas came out. I would do it again if I had to.

I had a '96 Tahoe that was perfect for hauling my crf50 around but there is no way it has enough head room in the back for a race bike. A pickups capacity is only limited by overpasses! :D

Those "hitch haulers" scare me. I could see using it for a dirtbike, but I couldnt put anything heavier on one. How does it work for you?

Eh, 800lbs on the towing hitch isn't bad. I would do it.

I've used The Mototote to haul a Buell Xb12 a couple of thousand miles with my 2002 Tahoe. No problem! Watch the cheap knock offs though, they are not rated for as much weight.

    Calling Andy R1....
Andy once put a R1 inside a Tahoe. He took the wheels of and put the bike on a gigantic turkey pan and slid it in the back. It was awesome!
