My kids found the books with stamps in the garage, and they think they are worth a fortune. My wife said I bought them at an auction long ago. This is the one I want appraised. Google says the kids might be correct, but Google won't give me any money.
I inherited a bunch of stamps from a great Uncle. Some worth some money. the value declines every year with the younger generations not interested in stamps. I used google to find individual stamps and approx values. There are stamp clubs that you should reach out to and get opinions. They love this stuff.

I have several inherited collections now and most of the ones I researched aren't worth much. You can get values from websites that buy and sell stamps, but they aren't interested in buying most of them. It's not a popular hobby these days.
LOL, this guy sure seems to think so https://www.ebay.com/itm/Red-George...579390?hash=item214205877e:g:6swAAOSwgslbIdB5
Kinda like comic books. My nephews used to collect them. Gave thousands to my son and then he started. I've got 15 to 20 boxes full, in sleeves, out in the barn. Probably not worth the gas to haul them to the dump.
I have a bunch of those and others I pulled off of letters that were old when I was young. Uncirculated, there might be significant value. Cancelled, not so much. If you find out, let me know.
There were two different red Washington $.02. One is worth $1200-3000. The other is worth about $15. I’ll be damned if I can tell em apart.
