Any news on Jake Holden?

That shot to the back looked pretty rough. I ffel for the guy. He seriously can't catch a break..

 

Fractured ribs and punctured spleen is what his FB page said I do believe

 

"My bad luck continuos!! I was taking out in turn 2 and ran over by another racer!!!

taken out or just wrong place/wrong time? seemed he leaned left right where Westby was, Westby didn't flinch or pick it up into Holden, just a real bummer. Can that guy catch a friggin break already? Paulie had to be feeling pretty crappy too having made a ramp of Holden and inadvertantly causing some serious injury to him..

I'm glad to hear that his injuries are not as bad as I had thought they would be.
That accident looked like it could have been very bad.

 

I hope he heals up and is back, but he was not taken out. From the various camera angles Westby had the inside and held his line. Definitely a racing incident, IMO.

That was scary looking. Definitely looked like it had the potential for vertebrae damage. Glad it didn't turn out that way.

 

Tell him he;s welcome to a SUMMER holiday later in the year at my house if that helps his healing with the warm weather

Jake is pretty broken up but will bounce back. He was riding so well all weekend and we were all really excited to see him back in the American Superbike Race on the BMW. We didn't have a ton of track time available on the BMW but Jake just kept getting faster and faster on it. Jake is as much bummed as he is sore, if your on facebook be sure to give him a shout out. I know he greatly appreciates all the well wishes.

 

Just when the tides were turning for Jake...Heal up Jake! Take solace that Cameron B is a beast on the JHR/RD bike.
