This site is so awesome, virtually no ads, and the screen changes are Quick! Anyways Anyone home brew beer here? I'll start- Been homebrewing Partial mash, (grain/extract) method for over 20 years. I like a commercial beer, then I go online and come up with a clone recipe for that beer. My latest is 'LightSpeed', by Toppling Goliath It has Falconers Flight and Millennium Hops, and then FF and Cascade is used in the dry hoping. It's Quad hopped, like a Double IPA. This stuff is mega strong. If someone wants it- I'll post them my clone recipe for it. This batch came out SSooooo good! Drinking 2 of them gives you the buzz of at least a 6 pk. of the American 'fast food' beers (my name for them) Todd
So, anybody homebrewing? I can buy cheaper beer, but it taste like you get what you paid for. There is the labor intensive part too, but I like drinking a/my handcrafted beer, and my friends/wife do too.
I've tried polite a few times so now to piss him off because he doesn't have a clue how to use a web board....
I think there is a possibility he didn't quite understand that "Other" meant other stuff for sale, and was just regular Other (topics). Like I said, I think he had a few brews before posting, and got excited...
In his defense, it does just say Other Anything not fitting into the other sections. No mention of classifieds, or only stuff for sale.......
So, we need to start dumbing things down to the lowiest common denominator? Maybe I should move his threads? Wait, people should just post where ever they want and I then move it to the right forum? Um, no. People should pay attention, do their homework and not expect to be coddled like small children.
You are correct, the old setup had a classifieds label that this was subforum of. Doesn't change anything.
He definitely had other threads deleted and pretty sure was also told this was classifieds prior to this thread.
Nah, he wasn't a bad guy, just kept posting in "others" when he clearly has been here long enough to know better. No idea on the length of his vacation but when he comes back I'm sure he'll at least pay attention.
