My gf takes shit from no one when riding her 50cc Vespa. I told her to be careful because someday she could run into a similar moron. That looked very painful. I hope they catch the bastard.

Same goes for a car against a truck. People don't realize the force a fully loaded truck can dish out. I literally just picked up a car yesterday that crossed the center line and hit fully loaded tractor loaded with sod. Ripped the car open like beer can, and I think the truck lost it's front axle is all. Driver was life flighted but I believe has since passed. I found shit 50 feet in the woods from the car blowing up.

 

I've watched quite a few dash cam videos this winter and have seen several similar things except the guy on the bike didn't get wrecked. As I'm watching them I'm thinking how stupid it is to be pissing off some wacko in a 2 ton weapon when you're on a bike.

Other thing I've seen a ton of is cars passing a truck, getting half way by and then pulling over right into the truck. Of coarse they get spun out or worse. WTF, you don't see the 65 foot, 80,000 pound vehicle you're passing ?

 

I had a lady in a minivan change lanes into the back of my Dodge Shadow with the front of her minivan. A witness stopped and said it was a miracle I didn't barrel roll down the interstate. I apparently just naturally steered into the slide as it happened and never lifted off the gas. Fail to do either and I would have been doing the ground / sky / ground / sky thing. How do you not see a bright blue car on a clear sunny day that is literally right in front of you? It is amazing what people don't see. Motorcycles are invisible.

Note: Yes, I know that car was a POS, but it was my first new car, it was cheap to buy and insure and fairly fun to drive with the manual transmission.

 

I've owned a lot of shit cars and miss a few of them.
