    * Botched the thread title. Oops.

I have to admit I haven't been paying much attention to US roadracing since it kinda imploded and MotoAmerica started up, but this one has me perplexed:

    http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2015/Oct/151021a.htm

"Adding Michael Lock to the executive team shows our commitment to elevating professional motorcycle racing in North America," said Jim France, Principal of AMA Pro Racing."

Is there even a DMG series now? I thought it was just Daytona?

Ah, I see that refrenced in the article. I see AMA/DMG and my brain goes directly to roadracing. That dirt racing is for hippies.

Nah, I can appreciate dirt track racing, even if I've never done it.

I've played around a little doing short track on a kx100. Wouldn't mind giving it a go on a 250f. Miles make my skirt blow up.

After running flat track a couple of times on little bikes, I appreciate it in its awesomeness. I'm doing a FT school in December and entering a real race afterward. Tis gonna be fun
