I ran stock stuff for a while before changing it over to a old set of R6 plastics. Can't remember the year of the R6 stuff, 06 or 08.. but it fits with a few mods. I always get double takes at track days or races, but more than the look, I like how it sits me up more above the bike and not "into it" like the stock stuff did. This is my '90 FZR400 with TZ250 wheels and a few other small mods.

Thanks guys... I kinda have been tossing around the idea of running newer TZ250 bodywork to keep it "vintage" looking, so that might be the next bodywork I put on it.

    That "R4" is beautiful.
My "tribute to stock" that you might expect from an old guy finally got the FZR stickers to complete the look. Fence1.JPG fennce2.JPG fence3.JPG

    Ran fine
I have only had singles and V twins on track
I have a few adjustments to make. Some to the bike. Mostly to me.

Already told ya.......first time at Summit on a "lack-o-torque" 400,is night and day difference from a single or twin, like you're used to:D You had good times and will only get quicker from there:beer:

I go faster at Homestead on my ninja 250 :( Did a 1:12.9 at Tally this weekend. Never been to the track but I believe I would have gone faster on my 250. Will take some adjustment.
Also, I'm beginning to think gearing is slightly more important than on a twin. Everywhere I go on the 250 or the 500 I end up saying, "Yeah, what's on it will work." :D
