Anyone willing to share a proper/ clean way to mount the AIM Solo 2 on an R6 (not latest gen)?
The bracket sold with timer does not work with steering stem mounted stabilizer.
Time to get rid of the XT mount and upgrade timers...

Not an R6 but should give you some ideas....RSV4 and GSXR 750.

Used 1/8" aluminum stock for a mounting plate.

Although anything is possible with enough effort..I'd get rid of the top mount damper.. aim sells a sweet bracket that mounts on the triple clamp. I have one on each bike, so i just mpve back and forth. Held magnetically.

Thanks Greg—alright.. change to graves or Öhlins damper and put on the AIM bracket is the set up!

Anyone here have a Linear damper for sale with the fork bracket?

Don't trust the magnetic mount. The AIM also has screws that attach to the steel mount plate....use them. Figure out a way to mount the AIM steel back plate.

Great feedback — Thanks guys! I will get the timer mounted properly now from your help...and be sure to use the screws- my buddy crashed and his went flying and the screen cracked because it was only on with the magnets..

This fits with a GPR damper and cost about $10 from a hardware store.
