Real. Remember the Chibok school girl kidnappings?

The USA has had forces down there, for years. I have a friend who spends a lot of time in that area.

I know we have a significant SOCOM presence there but Sub-Saharan Africa in general has always been a media black hole. Life is really cheap there and nobody seems to care.

Africa is one place where tragedies rarely need to be sensationalized.

When tragedy is your normal it loses its umph. Plus, we are far too busy with pronouns and bathrooms to care.

Plus, I believe this falls into the category of 'black on black' crime.

If it were an oil rich country it would be news.

We should have bought Africa years ago.

Nigeria is an oil rich country, 6th largest producer.

All that means is they are too cheap to build more than one restroom and are virtue signalling.

It feels that way, re the construction aspect of it. Lol. The ada signing though. Isn't it sort of a given now?

I did a space plan a few weeks ago for our legal department. The old building was not ADA compliant so I made space for 4 individual toilet rooms, all accessible. I told them they could label them however they wanted.

Why does the American Dental Association care about shitters?

They don't, but you must install proper lavatories so that teeth can be brushed with accessible, non-gender biased ambidextrous tooth brushes.

Don't they all pretty much have to be at this point? Or have one located in close proximity? As far as new alteration/construction? So the ada part is a little redundant I think. Meh.

I had no mandate regarding the gender. This was an older building that we split between two different occupants, which isolated one side from the accessible restrooms that had been created to comply with the original ADA. The building codes have not mandated a restroom for the gender fluid, but IMHO, it makes sense to anticipate and avoid future cost.
