Last round I noticed my gear lever was sticking in 5th gear under load while upshifting. In other words, I shift from 4th to 5th and when I try to push it into 6th I find that the lever is still stuck down. If I gave it a push, it would bump back up again and then I could kick it into 6th. It's definitely not an issue with the shift linkage. I am running an Annitori quickshifter with OEM settings. No problems with any other gears. Has anyone had this happen before? Sign of a bad gear dog, fork, or something inside the trans? Any experience or input would be greatly appreciated! 2009 CBR1000RR
