These are not a complete or final set of rules. The rules listed will not be changed for the 2008 season unless left open specifically. This list is intended to allow riders and teams to start building motorcycles for the 2008 season as early as possible. Full rules will be in the 2008 WERA Rulebook.

The main objective of 450 Super Single, is to create an affordable class as a stepping-stone to bigger classes and the AMA Pro ranks. A class where father, son or local dealer, can build a true road racer in the garage for little more than the initial cost of a new motocross 450 itself. The class will be a test of rider ability, not expensive engineering. High corner speed, braking and exit speed the key, not horsepower, the rules designed on the basis, “the same for everyone”.
