I'm throwing a 200/60 on for the street this week, and will probably run a Dunlop slick in 200/60 for the track. Did you make any changes in shock length or fork height?
No other changes. The tire swap really improved my confidence in the bike. I was able to drop a few seconds off my lap times at Roebling.
My motorcycle dance card is full but haven't given up if the opportunity comes around. In the meantime doing trackdays to stay proficient. I've been able to compare the RSV and Tuono at Summit almost back to back. (2017/18 models) On street trackday tires i ran 1:18-1:19 on the RSV and 1:20-21 on the Tuono. Where i lost time on the Tuono was accelerating out of corners and on the front straight. But i'll trade a couple seconds on the track for a bike (Tuono) i can ride 400 miles in a day on curvy mountain roads without being uncomfortable.
