Was wondering about that myself. At first, I was like "Hey, that Honda ain't doin' that bad!" Then I started payin' attention. As anyone down from the I-10 twin span to/from Slidell can tell you, roll-ons are when BOTH bikes are steadied up at speed, THEN the signal to go is given...usually three nods of the head, too many players in the game for everyone to have comms. Seems like the Honda guy was tryin' to snake some jumpstarts...he knew he was gonna get his ass handed to him.
Who me? I'm not one to shy away from the truth. I locked away my Ducati years ago. I like my Honda...I try to envision her with a soul, but we all know the Japanese are soulless. Seeing this V4, well, who wouldn't like it? Heavier than the V2, but feels lighter, absolutely stonkin' amount of torque and hp...and, I suspect, it has a soul more alive than that of my 996, and that bitch is soulful. Very few bikes talk to me but, when they do, they tell me what they think. I haven't even seen the V4 and, yet, it calls my name.
(fanboi) Shiite. That thing don't need no defending. It's gonna strike like a bloodthirsty surgeon's scalpel and eviscerate the world of open class machinery. (/fanboi)
Granted, every bike that MCN rides is a "Gamechanger" in their initial summaries, but it sounds like it's quite the machine so far. Can't wait for the RRW review.
I still hate how ducati does the electronic suspension connectors at the top of the fork. They look fragile and vulnerable as fuck. Why can't they make them a little less prominent ala BMW?
When will Sharskinz, Driven, Akra, LighTech, RapidBike, etc have shit for it? I don’t care about having one as a street bike. Such a waste. Just ike the 1299S, it will go from Robby-Bobby’s floor to the grid.
Haha. Look at the time. I slept for like 2hrs and then had to get up and play my game some more because of how it went before I tried to go to sleep. I was kinda loopy.
