Does it like a longer wheel base or shorter?

Meaning does the rear axle need to be further back or forward.

605mm I believe was the sweet spot.

Depends on other set up factors and what you’d like the bike to do. Some fast guys prefer it on the long side and some like it on the short side. Just depends on what kind of feel you prefer.

In 2018 we kept the swing arm length between 605 and 610 mm. In 2019 we kept it shorter, between 595 to 600 mm (my rider preferred it shorter and we went faster, but we also had to adjust the rest of the bike for the geometry we chose to use). The swing arm length effects other things, like spring rate and damping, so I’d suggest playing around with swing arm lengths and deciding which you like best and then set up the rest of the components to work with the geometry you prefer. Matching the rear spring rate to the swing arm length is really important.
