Am I late to the party, has this been discussed? http://japan.webike.net/moto_news/2019-2020-katana-revives-on-neoclassic-boom-2/
Oh man, for all it's faults that was the first street bike I fell in love with. I think I was 12 the first time I saw it.
Muffler looks straight off my GSX-S1000. I still own an 82 model 1000, not in the best of shape after sitting in my dad’s shop corner for the past 10 years. 100% in tact though.
Not sure about the credibility but... An example of this chassis component interdependence is the recent trend of underslung swingarms in MotoGP and WSB, the bracing having moved from the top to underneath the swingarm. This design is more efficient at reducing lateral tyre contact patch movement when the swingarm twists.
Pretty cool to crawl around the bikes yesterday at Revzilla. Rich Doan was great to talk to, answering any questions I had about the bikes. He said they're going to be running the silver swing arms like we've seen of late (said it's a "feel" thing on the edge of the tire). Pretty light turnout, but pretty cool that Roger, Toni, Matt, and Josh hung out. I know they were probably beat from traveling. Ended up on MotoAmerica's story feed with my vintage Team Hammer 3/4 sleeve. and Westby's bike:
Josh said Richard made another swing arm they’re going to try out this weekend too. Rich did say those chassis did start out as endurance builds, but obviously are in sprint race configuration now. Maybe Chuck will see your post and have something to say.
I'm always in hope they are running some kind of stock-ish bodywork from these guys, but I think Clever Wolf makes the Yosh team some kind of custom bodywork because you can see some of the intricacies that are different between what they run and the off the shelf items. http://www.cwr.co.jp/cathand/list-12753-39237-0-0.html
Most everyone has adjustable swing-arm pivots now. I didn't ask the Westby gang, but it looks exactly like Attack's set-up. Kyle Wyman has had an adjustable swing-arm pivot for the last three races that they told me Attack did for them.

That’s the best you can do? That’s disappointing...looks like we’re going to have to start drawing our own maps and sending them to you to help you out!
I was hoping for a WSBK team announcement. S.E.R.T. is based in France so maybe it's their endurance bike? Suzuki Italia #suzuki #lightson #comingsoon #2019 #motoGP #EICMA
