2016 Alpinestars Supertech R Boots

Worn by professional racing champions, the Alpinestars Supertech R Riding Boot offers the rider premium protection on the road and track. The new 2016 version has undergone several changes in order to provide riders maximum comfort as well as safety.

Made of durable microfiber, the Supertech R is flexible, light, and durable.



This particular version has a new front flex area made up of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and mesh, providing a more breathable and comfortable fit. This new construction of the front flex area is more abrasion resistant than the previous version. The top gaiter is made up of durable synthetic leather for additional protection.



The sole of the boot is made out of lightweight rubber that is flexible for when the rider changes positions. New for 2016, the boot contains a replaceable, co-injected TPU/aluminium toe slider that gives added protection to the rider's toes. The protective polymer heel plate slider is also replaceable.



The Supertech has accordion microfiber stretch in both the Achilles and the top of the boot, making it easier to put on and take off. The boot is equipped with both a TPU zipper and a Velcro tab to ensure the boot stays closed during use.



You will also notice the new micro-adjustable ratchet top closure on the shin plate for a safe and precise fit.



The Supertech R is CE certified to EN 13634:2010, and is available in both standard and vented versions.

bad ass boots and very comfortable. crashed in mine twice and still holding up and looking new.

A few people were asking about the new toe slider. Here it is removed. You can see the set screw partially in place on the rear mount. This set screw threads through the toe slider an into the mount holding it in place. No worries about making sure it's snapped on like the old style.
