Can we make it mandatory that if you post a picture of the Grom you just got, you have to include riding impressions?

    Impressions: FUN, FUN, FUN
Steers great, back brake sucks, Front is very good - I can see going through brake pads :)
Only ridden in neighborhood, can't get out on road till someone to watch kids. Or this weekend when they go to their mom's and I can abuse it thoroughly. Daughter enjoys being passenger - she's a small 9 year old. She likes cornering low... I will test that aspect of the bike this weekend too

They went with the Euro style handlebar controls - the left control has the hi/lo on top, then horn, then turn signal on the bottom - still throwing me off.

My son loves the CRF125 :).

I just testrode the one we got in today. I was wondering if it was just me on the left control.

Nothing but fun. I want one.

How much is it gonna suck going 6-8 miles on a backcountry 55mph road on one as a commuter?

Not enough to offset that 130 MPG.

I wonder how this compares to the Zuma 125 in top speed and torque? My zuma 125 rarely goes below 45 mph going up a hill and does not climb above 60mph on the flats.

I'm a fat 240 pounds. I saw a top speed of 58 (it was a 45 mph zone) and no speed loss climbing any hills.

6 miles is ok, 8 would suck. ;)

Sat on one yesterday at the dealer. Pretty cool but, sits too low for me to feel safe out in traffic. They were asking $3995 with a yosh slip-on. :(

The seat is like 29 inches high? Higher than most cruisers and as high as some small sport bikes.

That's true, but I'm spoiled by the commanding view on my BMW GS. I like to look the pickup truck and SUV drivers right in the eye.
