Interesting. I wonder if the "offset cylinder" design is similar to that used in the NSF250 (Moto3 bike)...

would be better with a 250 motor though.

 

12" wheels?

They have a plainer version of this and the 250 all over Brazil and the one I rode around the block the last time I was there was fun enough. Slower than a lurking beer fart but still fun. I hope they sell a gazillion of 'em.

 

Best part - under $3000, according to Honda.

I've got to wonder about that too. Those little wheels give a nervous feel to the bike IMO. Great for off-season training or after-hours hooligan fun with your racing buddies. But I don't know how many beginners it's going to instill with confidence.

 

oh man this would be like my ruckus but waaayyyyy cooler. Perfect for holliganizing LA

 

damn that looks like an absolute blast. i would love to get one and zip around the neighborhood with my dog chasing me. only way to get her 2 miles of exercise a day lol.

I don't know about the Japan release, but they probably did.

CRF100s at Suzuka is bad ass.

 

That thing is bad ass. Looks like a big trials bike.

 

The promo videos that circulated at the time were of some trial-like urban assualts. They were the thing of hooligan wet dreams.
