2008 Yamaha R6

Selling my 2008 Yamaha R6. I am a second owner since 2011. This was a B bike for for well respected midwest racer. It came stock except the built SS motor. Here is a list of upgrades I added:

-Bike has MDRacing built motor, runs great with no issues what so ever, mapped for pump gas
-2014 I upgraded from stock suspension to front Ohlins 30 mm NiX cartridges along with brand new upper and lower fork tubes - serviced and refreshed in april 2015 by TSE
-2014 brand new Ohlins TTX MKII shock (.95spring) serviced also in april 2015 by TSE
-Brembo RCS19 master cylinder
-SS brake lines
-Dynojet PCIII with USB
-Dynojet Ignition Module
-Dynojet Quickshifter
-Woodcraft rearsets GP shift
-Vortex clip ons
-Woodcraft frame sliders
-Sharkskinz bodywork (some scuffs, minor cracks on it)
-Hindle full exhaust (scuffed)
-Michelin cup slick VB front tire with some life in it
-Michelin Evo slick rear tire with 2 track days on it
-The bad: Bike has dented fuel tank on both sides (thats how I bought it) however I have a new tank+cover that I am willing to incorporate into the deal. I lowsided the bike last year hence the small dent/rash on the exhaust and body work. Comes with clean IL title.

I used the bike for track days only. It handles and runs great. Has fresh synthetic oil, one session on it. Selling cause I am switching to a liter bike. I am asking $6900.00. Open to reasonable offers. Bike is located in Addison, IL. Any questions You can reach me at 708 228 4317.

I am estimating about 3000+ miles on the motor. Starts and runs great with no issues.

 

Is that Dan Ortega's old bike? Any idea if Mat Drucker had the crank cryo'd when he built the engine?

 

Yes, it was his B bike and yes the crank was cryogenically treated.
