I have my forks and shock bottomed out on full soft and can still only get 1/2 inch of sag. Whats the solutiuon, go with softer springs? Also what is the best sag measurement for an 06 r6 with ohlins shock and fork cartriges? The ohlins manual says 35-50 mm for the fron and 25-40 for the rear. I always thought it was closer to 25mm for the front?

no, the front is usually 10 mm less than the rear, typicall 25-30 mm rear and 35-40 mm for the front.

Are you saying your preload is all the way out? What is your sag settings, 1/2" doesn't tell me much since we deal in millimeters? I would shoot for 35mm front and 30mm rear as a rough start. You can go for more sag on a nice smooth track, but not many of those on the East Coast. If you cannot reach these settings, then you need to send them back to Ohlins to put on softer springs.

P.S. Front is always 5-10mm more, not less!

Well if 1 inch is equal to 25mm then im right around 12-13 mm with the preload adjusted all the way out. I have the springs, i just need to swap them out.

Shit. I changed out the 9.5 spring with a 9.0 and it went from 1/2 inch to 7/8th... Still not even 25 mm. Im screwed i guess.
