2001 sv650 race bike quick shifter issues.

Hello all, hoping someone can give me some insight on the translogic f series quick shifter with a pull type shifter. I currently have the bike set up normal shift and when I put bike in first the bike will die. If I pull the fuse for the QS the bike will start, otherwise it will kick over forever. I can also put the bike in first with the fuse in and it won't stall. Weird, somehow the QS is messing with the bike running currently. Any help is appreciated.
