So who eats that discount the seller?

 

I'm thinking eBay themselves. I know if I happened to be selling something at the time and took a 20% hit, I'd be pissed.

 

That's the only thing that makes even a little bit of sense.

In light of that, thanks eBay for helping my clapped out gixxer look less clappy.

They got greedy and others are taking over. to high for the fees...

 

Everyone pissin & moanin about ""ebay fees"".

Funny, shipping takes a FAR, FAR, FAR larger chunk out of the profit margin.

 

Unless you have the buyer pay the shipping cost... But then again, eBay calculates any shipping charges into the fee. Meaning you pay the same % for shipping charges as the item itself.... Pretty shitty if you ask me.

 

people were taking advantage of the fee situation. So they wereCharging 0.99 for the item and like $50 for shipping to get around the fees.

Can't blame eBay but the new policy does suck
