Am in the process of getting my 2 stroke KTM 250 ready for tech inspection. The only oil volume in the cases is the trans oil. Besides the obvious safety wiring and fuel/water catch bottles, do I need to put a turkey pan under the cases to pass tech inspection?
Yes. You need something and while they don't contain as much oil they do still contain a lot of liquids and over the years we've found them all caught in bellypans.
