I have owned a RZ350 for 15 or more years. It has never run well. Very hard to start (pump the throttle many times and kick the sh*t out of it), catch it and rev it (cold) at 6k until it will run. I have had one minor overbore (.1mm), cleaned the carbs multiple times, etc all to no avail. I'm finally ready to have a pro do the work. Any recommendations for someone in central PA? This is not a show bike but before I plow money into it I need to make sure it is mechanically sound. Thanks

Thats how cold seizing happens. Did you check for air leaks? Maybe weak spark?

    :stupid: Crank seals, carb boots...

    RyanCo racing engine and suspension
(Figure his "engine services" labor rates are likely for single cylinder machines.)

Geebus, how many times have you asked this same question in as many years? :Poke:I believe it's time to let it go to a more caring home. <ahem> :D

I've tried all the recommendations offered, all to no avail. Now it's time to let a pro give it a go, hence the question. Thanks for the ref....:)

I would do it, but not til winter time when I slow down. I'm in Bath PA 18017. Did you do a leak-down (pressure and vacuum)? Just curious.
