How thick is the foam gasket/seal that fits between the intake snorkel and airbox on said Triumph? I can't find one so I figured I would make one. I'm thinking seat foam or the stuff from a Pelican case.

    1/4 inch, almost exactly.

Huge thanks. You were on my short list of who I thought would know!

It's a god damn shame I'm just seeing this now - fairly certain I threw one away when I cleaned my garage out a week ago.

No problem. I've got a couple different density materials laying around.

How did this work out? I'm trying to do the same thing and can't get the rubber gasket material to bond with the plastic airbox. I tried superglue but it didn't bond to the airbox. Tried double sided tape but it didn't bond to the rubber gasket.

I used one of the 3M adhesives and applied it to the airbox. As far as material, I had some 1/2 inch dense foam a friend used on a kayak seat. After I made the pattern, I trimmed it down to 1/4 inch.
