1989 Honda hawk 700cc superbike eligibility

    which vintage class (s) can this configuration run in?

    Not the new MA twins class lol. :) :)

    A 700cc Hawk gets bumped to V6MW. If it was 650cc than V6LW. And then you can bump to V6HW too and even V7MW.

    It can't go in V7.

    Exclusions: No machine eligible for D Superbike, 125GP, or Clubman classes will be allowed to bump-up to V 7.

    I would look at that one on a bike by bike or rider by rider basis. The issue when it was written was I believe a concern over speed differences with the bikes in classes V7 gets run with.

    If its a 700, then its not eligible for dsuper, therefore negating the specific exclusion in v7.

    Technicalities aren't going to get you around that type of rule.

    The D classes go up to 700cc 4t 3 valve twins per the rulebook.
