You, in a chevette, on a dirt track......I'd pay a few $ to see that. I'd almost bet you could talk Walker into that.
Ground control to Charlie Young .... 10 put those old leathers on ....9 drink that beer or I'll slap you son... 7 you really sux what have you done...5 get back to work and get it done...3 2 1 will this Honda ever run........
So both Sean and Griz have had 2 chevettes? coincidence? I think NOT!.....Sean driving a chevette had to feel like a golf cart or something. I miss the WERA Vintage crew....good times fo sure. Good Luck at GNF boys! Give the bike a shot Vance!
The Chevettes were bigger than the Chevy Sprint - but the Sprint was way more fun. I was a bit smaller then too.
Not sure why so many folks are disappointed by the Chevette. Were they ever marketed as anything more than what they were supposed to be, just a basic, economical, stripped down, entry-level subcompact? It was a front engine, rear wheel drive turd then, and still is, but now I've got a little more money to spoon a v6 into one.
True, they were never marketed as more than the piles they are. There are other much better econo boxes out there from that era though.
When I'm finished, you're still welcome to lap Road A in it at a WERA round. Maybe a sighting lap or to drop off a corner worker or some sh@t. lol I've already got more in wheels than the cars worth. That wasn't hard to do, as you might've guessed.
Dayum, turning down an offer like that....one of his other chevettes must have spooked him, hard..... It would make some good lunchtime entertainment....how many corner workers can fit in a chevette?
I know you can fit 2 adults, 7 kids, and 1 Old English Sheepdog in one... I think it might have been the 2 door too.
First, entertaining crowd. Second, I'm dead serious about the bike, but I'm in a similar situation, minus two chevettes. this is my half of the garage as of last night, MUST sell some stuff before I get another bike:
First, whats this "My Half of the garage" stuff? second, I agree with Mongo. third, what the little 18 bike? fourth, look forward to meeting you sometime. Ill look for the guy with the baddest XS650 evea........good luck sir. Dougie.....thanx for the song. Since I read it in a David Bowie voice, I'm unsure who is who again.
