Does the yec ecu/harness for the 17+ r6 delete abs? Or will you still need a delete module? Hows the yec stuff vs the ftecu race package? Anyone with experience using the woolich stuff on the 17+? Is it still recommended to use a piggyback with any of these systems on a ss built motor?

You need an ABS delete plug with either harness.

Use of a piggyback is required to get blip if you use the GYTR ECU.

I would talk to the motor builder and whoever you are going to have tune the motor regarding their preferred electronics package.

Maybe a bit off topic, but whats the benefit of running yec ecu vs running the stock ecu? On my 17 R6 I just removed the abs brake lines, capped off the abs pump (but left the abs plugged in), and ran straight lines to the MC. Traction control works, stock ecu was reprogrammed, and quick up shifter works. Why are guys dumping $$ on these ecu's whats the benefit other then running a cool new dash display
