Are there 2 holes on the inside of the reservoir, or 1?

Cant get this thing to build pressure and it looks like there are 2 holes cast in it but only one is open. Before I get out a big hammer I'd like to know.

    Thanks!!

Warning. You can’t modify it if you want it to be legal for MotoAmerica twins class

Thanks fuckers. I'm trying to pass along the suck to someone else, but would prefer it to have some front brakes just in case they use them.

All master cylinders have a big hole to let the fluid in
And a small hole to let the pressure out

That small hole is really, really small

I just went thru this same thing. 2 holes. I rebuilt the master 2x, new lines, pads and rebuilt the calipers. Turns out the bike was delivered with DOT5 in it and p.o. must have put DOT 3 or 4 in it because the calipers looked like a bowl of RiceCrispies when opened. May want to check that on yours.

Yeah, especially a Harley. I've seen them requiring DOT 4 on one end and DOT 5 on the other, believe it or not

Plus, your bike is 13 years old
When's the last time you flushed the brake system?

No respectable HD rider uses the front brake. What do you want, them to fly over the handlebars when braking? Think safety, man!

    I love old stereo types.....
Dot 5 sucks and is the recommend replacement.. yuk
    Flush clean replace repair
Brakes on mine work very well after a little work have yet to go over the bars....
Rear brake will also need attention as it helps slow down close to a half ton of bike rider gear..

The smaller hole is the compensation port.

I don't know what you are worrying about, it probably does not go fast enough to need any brakes.
