I did dance to Buffet with my Dad! But it was "Little Miss Magic". Here's the lyrics, but you've got to hear it to appreciate it. It's a beautiful song -- not your typical Buffet -- more like a lullabye -- perfect for a slow song dance.

If she hasn't already joined, send her to www.ultimatewedding.com. I got a lot of my song ideas and other ideas for our wedding on this web site. Very helpful.

My Dad got himself uninvited (long story), so I can't really suggest anything.

"Butterfly Kisses" or "There Goes my Life" if you want to cry like a blubbering idiot.

Dancing with your dad to "Why Don't We get Drunk and Screw" sounds a little odd to me...

    ;)

Daddy's Little Girl by Al Martino. It's a great song.

My father should have been uninvited (also a long story); but getting back on track, have your fiance ask her father what would be a meaningful song for him. I would imagine most fathers have songs that remind them of their little girls.

    Billy Idol's "White Wedding"?

I get to work on this decision in about 6 months, so I'm taking notes.

"Unforgetable", the duet version by Nat and Natalie (Gotta disagree with ya, Lee).

As to who's choice it is to pick the song - the father of the bride.

Been there, done that, paid for the weddings. 3X.

"I Hope You Dance" by Lee Ann Womack. I know it is country and you may not like country, but the words and meaning are great.

Do they play "corn-horn" at these hillbilly weddings?

So what's the verdict? Any of this back and forth wedding nostalgia produce positive results? Is she any closer to making a decision or are you closer to needing another beer?
