MotoAmerica | 2024 | Road Atlanta | April 19-21

Maybe I missed it but didn't see a thread about the Road Atlanta (first?) round of the MotoAmerica series. Ok, so there's been Daytona for the 600's, hooligans and baggers. And COTA for the baggers, but this is the first round for the Superbikes and 3 other classes: Superbikes, Supersport, Jr Cup and Twins cup (and they are racing the baggers again this weekend for their third round).

Wish they were going to have the hooligans for this round (i know, many don't like it but it's become a bit more of the "everyday man" class with a bit of variety of bikes showing up on the grid. Plus I like the naked bikes.

Anyone going or have any predictions for podiums? Nice to not have it mid season (blazing hot) and the same for Barber in a few weeks...

 

Supersport is going to be the premier class. That race is going to be nuts!

 

I'll be there Saturday afternoon and Sunday. We gathered a group of 16 people to do the ATL Ragnar trail race on Friday/Saturday. We'll be there with tired legs.

So much good racing to be had and the weather patterns are gonna shake the box up too!

Bringing the fam down Saturday morning for the weekend. Probably post up somewhere around 10A for most of the weekend, maybe spend a little time on spectator hill.

 

Donnie Rowe Boulevard outside turn 9 is full. I'd avoid this area. Nothing to see there.

 

Hopefully they have great weather this weekend, all the classes should be amazing. Cant wait!

He's an ace at what he does. Many a racer should be very appreciative for what he does while at the track.

 

I will be there with the Apex manufacturing team. If one of you yay whoo's, dont walk by and see a bald guy and yell "hey assjuice" I will be disapointed.

Any tire changes/ updates or do they still favor the Yamaha slightly?
