You going to start one for the 2027 season with the “rumors” of BWW going into motogp for that season and who will ride for them? :D

How solid is Morbidelli's two year contract at Pramac?....

In case there's no turn around by mid-season.....

  5. HPPT

    HPPT !!!

    Not very solid. It's a 1-year deal...

lol. I thought he was given a classic two year deal.

So actually two possible ejector seats for Pramac at end of 2024.

Quarterpounder to Aprillia. Martin to Yamaha.

Martin is a championship contender on a satellite Ducati. The worst move he could possibly make would be to jump to Yamaha or Honda and watch his career flounder. No way Luca Marini isn't already realizing there isn't enough money to relegate you to irrelevance for years.

Well, unless he gets the seat next to Pecco, he says he's gone. He wants a factory seat.

He deserves one. Dude hands Enea his ass damn near every race.

Martin rides and gets support on a FACTORY Ducati, but it is SATELLITE colors.

His contract like all on Lenovo and Pramac is with Ducati Corse unlike VR46 and Gresini who may or may not get GP24's and the newest of parts.

They pay him, support him, and he gets the same treatment (other than some extra purple) as Pecco and Enea - also the same '24 machinery of course.

What Jorge doesn't get though, is Gigi in his box and having him at arms length when making changes for races other than for the data sharing - Qatar proved how valuable that was with him crunching the data for Pecco on tire wear and fuel management then deciding on the race strategy (get to the front ASAP, and click of X lap times with Y gap to P2, then switch to map B and then C at these intervals).

Can't blame Jorge one bit for wanting that guy to spearhead your weekend and direct the engineers where and when needed. He's earned it IMO.

Funny how Duc has created a KTM situation of their own. The rest of the Ducati crew had better start growing some hair if they want to keep up with Aldeguer... that's a serious Wig!

I've been on the Quartararo to Aprilia bandwagon since... well, since before the rumors started! Let's hope Aprilia's development keeps up.

If you were Rivola and you're looking at your options for 2025, do you go with Quartararo or Martin?

Easy to say that now but Enea was burning Martin every race in 22'. Enea also doesn't have a mouth of entitlement like Martin which is why we're here to begin with. Franky, Vinales, Miller, Taka, Miguel, and both Fernandez's need to be gone next year. Its time to inject some real fresh blood into the series. Alonso, Vietti, Dixon, Arbolino, and Garcia should bump up. Ogura has flopped since the injury.

Honestly, both Aprilia factory seats could be open in '25.
    - Aleix may retire.
    - Maverick may be asked to retire.

If I were a Team Principal:

    - Fabio over Martin if both could be had on a 3 year deal for the same money - ideally under $5mm/yr.
    - Aleix moved to Test rider at Aprilia and Maverick thanked for his time and gracefully shown the door.
    - Marc & Pecco teamed up into Lenovo, Fermin teamed up with Enea in Pramac
    - Alex M stay at Gresini and be teamed up with Vietti/Bulega
    - Trackhouse makes a huge gamble on a 'Murican - just not Joe...

Other needing a british passport in motogp i can't see any reason for Dixon to be there. Vietti sucked the past couple seasons and Miller might go to a satellite team but he ain't leaving motogp yet.

Vietti is a VR46 rider. He moves up it's to that squad.

Have Vietti & Morbidelli fallen in the same folder?....

Vietti? He's floundered a bit since 2022. He looks way more inconsistent then some of the other top M2 guys. I'd take Gonzalez over Vietti. Dixon....another guy who makes too many mistakes. Maybe he'd do better in the top class, but I'm guessing he'll be at a Bautista level of crash count.
