Is it time to start an RIP forum? Sometimes General feels like it’s turned into the obits page in the paper.

 

RIP. I used to read his columns back in the day. Dirt Bike, Cycle, Cycle World, Cycle New Dixie, ... the list of publications my dad subscribed to was endless. I was a lucky kid.

Always was a huge fan . Could not wait until the next issue of Dirt Bike Mag .
While visiting my relatives in Cali , talked my parents into taking us to HQ where my younger brother & I got to spend some time with him .
Very gracious & quite entertaining .

There used to always be one color full page action pic of a bike being tested or a race pic. I would cut it out and tape it to my bedroom walls. My room looked like it had motocross wallpaper there were so many. Great memories.

 

Made a huge impact on me as a kid reading his stuff.

His book is a great read.
