Throw it out there! I just pulled the breakfast casserole out of the oven. We're having non-traditional ravioli later.
Orange Jell-O with fruit cocktail. Pumpkin pie with Cool-Whip Blueberry pie with ‘niller ice cream Za-Rex with Sprite and orange slices to wash it all down.
Visiting our daughter in Indianapolis. She is real busy— she has a one month old baby and is finishing up her post residency at IU Hospital— so she has no time to cook. We went for a Whole Foods turkey dinner/dressing/green beans/mashed potatoes and gravy/pies and we added a couple family tradition sides, and our son and his wife have come out from LA to be with us.
Now this sounds awesome, I'm tired of turkey and I'm starting to hate the smell of it. A good grilled cheeseburger thanksgiving sounds good to me.
Ribs are on the grill. Rolls are thawing so shawtie can make cheesy bread. Got spuds to peel and cook for smashed taters. Got 101 different pickles and olives for a relish tray. Chips, dips, chains, whips…
Lucked my way in to some fresh Rhubarb (which is nigh on impossible down here on Americas' weiner) so a fresh Strawberry/Rhubarb pie is on the menu!!!!!
It’s always breakfast with the Injuns for me. Tables full of different meats, sausages etc. That’s the good part……….unfortunately they insist on having the parade on
Set the alarm and got up early to load the smoker full of ribs, wings and pork belly. Gonna take that to the parents house to pair up with whatever everyone else makes. Don’t really care what they make cause I got bbq and bourbon. Don’t need anything else.
Never heard that one, pretty funny. Asked one of my Hispanic guys if they were having turkey today. He said no his sister would probably cook some tamales. I said Mexican sounds better to me than turkey and gravy.
Bird and pig. Turnip and collards w hamhocks and marrow bones. Sausage stuffing. Cornbread pudding. Brooklyn friend just dropped off ziti in pork sauce with buffalo mozzarella. People start here @12 and done by midnight. Some bring sides, some desserts and most bring Tupperware for leftovers. Chocolate fondue all day w marshmallows, cheese and bananas. Made a habanero sauce w horseradish and a fire boost from scorpion, ghost and 7 pot peppers. Dogs got a little sliver of all the giblets each already. Happy Thanksgiving, safe travels and blessings to all!
