MotoGP going to smaller engines

    Steeltoe What's my move?

As I recall 800cc was when JLo and Pedrobot and a few others perfected the Moon Launch. J Lo especially caught some amazing air off the back of that Yamaka. Dunno what it was about them or the tires or the combination of the two. Pretty sure Ben Spies got launched into orbit on an 800 as well.

MotoGP died with the 500 2t. Been boring as shit since then.

Give it another year or two when the computer handles the braking also and the riders will literally be there just for looks

I think he has it backwards it was called grand prix racing for the smokers, so they died, and then they named it MotoGP when the four strokes arrived.

Get rid of the squat suspension, limit the aero and move along. Still too fast? Limit the gear box to 5 and narrow the width of the rear wheel.
Want more excitement? Get rid of launch control. . .

Formula E has taught them that electric racing is a total snooze fest no one will watch.

Didn't they learn anything? This aint gonna slow them down, itll make them go through the corners faster.

Didn't the 800's consistently break 990 records back in the day with the top speed only slightly slower, but corner speeds were way up.

isn't that around the time they started implementing bigger runoffs and paving them more than the traditional gravel?

Different bikes now. Without the surplus of HP, they will have to take some downforce off to keep the speeds up on the straights.

kind of what I was thinking, I’m sure they still have access to all the info from the 800’s. Martin is gonna need a damn helmet slider if he starts carrying more corner speed.

The big question, more than displacement, what is the bore limit as that's how they prevent screamers right now.

You would think that since they already did this and it didn't work, they would leave it alone.

Didn't they go faster because the bridgstones in 07 were fucking amazing?

I think they do need to make the engine smaller, some where around 850 to 900
