My girlfriend got me a monthly subscription to VR46 model bike. At first it was cute, but gtfo here!! I had to assemble shocks, slicks not mounted to wheels, rotors, full argvakaparvic exhaust to assemble
Me Either!! I cant work on the real shit wo throwing a fit.I have a amg in the driveway with the dash kicked in,after trying to change out a shifter.I just thought it was funny she bought me this fn thing. She's sweet, and a fan,so Im trying! But Fuuuuuuuuuuuk models!
That's pretty eff'n cool! I have a model of a Kawasaki Ninja H2 my daughters gave me as a gift, haven't made the time to put it together yet.
Some of the details are insanely life like, and then they cut corners on others! It would be great for someone learning the functions, but shit!! The exhaust, and wheels weigh a ton! And the body work is shoddy at best! I appreciate her effort, but damned if this thing might end up MIA!
Are you referring to this or something else? https://www.deagostini.com/us/scale-models/valentino-rossi-bike How do you even know how much its going to cost to finish? 91 packages?!
I’ve built models as a kid, got a few sets sitting waiting to get built. (944 turbo, Mercedes Wolf, wrx sti) But that’s for wintertime after the next lego technic is built now i rather ride, camp, or i wrench on 1:1 stuff. buddy built a 1299 model with stunning details
SHould had tried to build a rc nitro helicopter before ARF/RTF kits were even a thought. You had to build up the rotor head and swash plate assembly from parts. There were NO prebuilt assemblies. Took 2 months to build my Century .60
Thats it! But she would Never consider asking me!! Its a fist fuck, and I havent even seen the frame or motor! This thing is ridiculous! I was in to it last Christmas, then we had to wait on back ordered parts.Who the hell has time for this shit? I have valve covers, and a shit stack of those magazine instructions .The functioning ohlins forks were pretty cool, but im worried Im gonna have to blow someone for the last parts. This has been going on for a year now!! I would rather have a new puppy.Again,God bless her,and her torturing me!
Tamiya puts out some awesome bike models. They're about the only brand I build from. Quality and ease of building is top notch.
Paint a piece of cardboard black…with some green. Throw all parts around on there and then write bike after Bautista test ride. done.
It's a trap! I'm reminded of something that happened when my son was five years old. He was taking karate lessons, something he had expressed an interest in. I used to take him to his lessons. When my birthday came around my wife surprised me with a Gi and 6 months of prepaid karate lessons. I had absolutely no interest in taking karate lessons myself but my wife had decided that it would be just wonderful if the two of us took lessons together. I couldn't help but notice that she hadn't signed herself up for lessons and when I brought up the subject she informed me that she had no interest in taking karate lessons. This started 6 months of arguments over why I was not taking the lessons that she had invested a substantial amount of my money in (she wasn't working at the time) when we had no money to spare on frivolous things. Of course, it never occurred to her to ask me if I wanted to take lessons before she signed me up for them. She was really upset that I didn't appreciate the birthday present that she had put so much thought into. It was a hard lesson in the workings of the female brain.
Bro. The old Miniature aircraft’s. The manuals were impossible to read too. When the Aligns came out, they really changed the game. I think I’ve owned 30 align helicopters. Still have a Kasma Srimok and an Avant Aurora. Some classics that will never come back. Nothing flys like by Goblin 770 though.
Ha! I had a GMP Competitor when I was aroung 16. After a hiatus I had a MS Hornet, Raptor 50, 90 sized Hirobo of some sort, 50 sized Compass nitro, and finally a Compass 6HV.
