Ordering from Spiegler. I want to do Superbike style lines that thread directly into the caliper- they are Brembo Monoblocs on the Moto2. Not sure the designation.

I know the thread is M10 x 1.0, but not 100% certain of the depth / length. A standard Brembo banjo bolt bottoms out around 10mm.

The fitting on the Spiegler site shows M10 x 1.0 but measures 12.2 mm length. It's also tapered at the end so I'm guessing it will go slightly deeper than the flat banjo bolt. Also there's the crush washer which is probably 1 mm.

Am I on the right track with that fitting or way off? It's the shallowest one they have listed.

OK, I have friggen idea but just how hard is it to bleed these suckers?

Call them, I have had them make custom lines for me and they were very helpful.

That fitting may seal on the end of the "cone" and not with a crush washer,
I am not at all certain though.

As for bleeding them, it's not convenient for sure but you can bleed the system off of the bike
or remove the wheel and use a steel spacer between the pads in place of the rotor.
Or just have tiny hands.

The calipers have a bleed fitting

I think they are referring to the fact that the bleeder is on the inside of the caliper. Once everything is on its probably not to fun to bleed them. Just like the stock brembo’s on gsxr’s

not sure if it's an option, but could you ship them a caliper to ensure proper fit?

Should be able to reverse the bleeder and the line on Brembo.
And get Sthalbus bleeders, very nice and easy to use.

I spoke to them today. They claim it’s the correct spec, we’ll see when they show up!

I used a similar fitting (#417) from them for the M4 I put on my RS125. The fitting seals on the tapered face and had plenty of threads, and I like it much better than a banjo. However, I would take a look inside your calipers before they actually make/ship them. I had the same line made for my Brembo GP4-RR as my M4 and it leaked. Apparently the GP4-RR has two feed holes, and one is in the taper, so fluid was leaking past the threads. If this is the case, and you catch it before they ship it, they can swap the fittings for you. Also, they offer great service. They had the line I ordered this year shipped the same day I ordered, and when I realized I needed a different fitting my wife dropped it off one day and it was ready for me to pick up the next morning.

    BrentA Very expensive.

Cool! Post pics when you get it all installed. Will look clean.

+1 for also using Stahlbus bleeders. I got them on all my bikes. So nice.

I think Stahlbus are much better. Very easy to use. Order his tubing as well for the fluid bled.
