Quick check of the market 7x12 v nose about 5 years old. Single axle WITH brakes. Couple chocks inside but nothing else no damage and generally very good condition. 2500? More? Less? Looks like they are 5000 or more new, holy crap I hadn't checked new prices in a while I guess
I'm currently looking for a 7x16. Prices are crazy. Saw a used bare 7x14 go for 4200 on fbook last week here in Alabama. Considering a 8.5x20 just bc they're about the same price. I can almost double my money on my 6x12 v nose that i bought 10 years ago. I bought it used at a great price then. So now I can make a grand or so on it looking at the prices.
When I was looking to buy a 6x12 v-nose aluminum March 2020, used was almost the same price as used. So the wifey said just buy new then…..I did not question her. Then somewhere around 2021 prices shot up a couple thousand more for the same trailer. If you’re looking to sell you will not be losing any money at all but you also can’t replace what you’re selling for cheap either.
Even down here in the south where trailers are generally cheap, a used (5 years old or less) 6x12 V nose single axle is a deal at $3500 or so.
Jeebus.... i sold my '17 7x16 v nose homesteader patriot with e-track, epoxy floor, upgraded tires, spare tire/rim, for $3500 a few yrs ago to a dude on here. Sold my '21 7x16x7 Homesteader intrepid with RV door, ramp door, window, stabilizing jacks, shelving in the V, epoxy floor, e-track everywhere, upgraded tires, 4" led back up lights , for $6500 a year ago.
I’m half tempted to sell my 6x12 to upgrade, but the new prices are not palatable right now. I feel like I got got before I could get mines tho
