1996 GSXR 750

1996 GSXR 750 - Race bike only, no title, no street parts. Bike runs strong Full Titanium Yoshimura Duplex Exhaust, Brembo Master Cyl., Forks with Lindman Internals and Ohlins Rear shock, Attack rearsets, Ohlins steering damper with Harris mount, front brake hand guard, Graves clip ons, carbon/kevlar ram air tubes.

When I bought the bike this is what I was told - "Not sure what is engine as bought from a guy who did not know what he had in a private collection. Ex AMA bike that shows original 1800 miles. head ported and polished, I repainted the body freshened up and went racing. Bike won next gen 2 class AHRMA roebling races round first time out."

I had it painted and made a few small upgrades and raced it as it sits. It's a great bike ready to race and win in WERA V7HW and AHRMA Next Gen 2.

I also have a ton of spares that go with the bike. I'll make a list of the major parts but there is no way I can list them all.

- Marchesini Magnesium Wheels - Fresh white powder coat, the powder coater made the mistake of sand blasting the bearing area so they need a little work but they are fixable, I also have all brand new bearings
- Matching painted Blue/white tank
- Formula Extreme 2mm kit - Pistons and rings
- 8 OEM Rods
- A pile of OEM intake/exhaust valves
- Lots of other OEM parts, gaskets/valve springs more
- 3 Yoshimura race Tachometers, 2 of them have broken needles but I'm guessing can be saved
- A set of 2001-2004 OEM GSXR wheels, rear is direct bole on front needs a small shim to work
- Spare rearsets/several sets of clipons/factory ram air tubes/gearing/triples and more
- MotoD Suzuki Pit Mat
- Pit Bull Rear Stand and Vintage Suzuki rear stand
- Pit Bull TRS pins (pins only)

I really don't want to part this out, I want to sell it all as a package. I'm in Huntsville Alabama, can deliver to Roebling this coming weekend.

I shoulda bought that bike..when I had the chance a few yrs ago .
But I was in Calif .and shipping spooked me.

I thought I had a set of those wheels lined up here from the guy I bought my race exuast from..but he kinda flaked out....promised any and everything yoshimura SRAD related but after the race pipe I bought..he disappeared.?

Long term, All I'm looking for is multi spoke wheels and a steering stabilizer..then I'm done w mine.

Someone scored..that's a really good price......you couldn't build that bike today for under 18k
If that exhaust were even available today it would cost in excess of 6k

 

Yes sir I scored. I wrecked my 996 on Saturday and couldn't put her back together. Raced the GSX-R on Sunday, only ridden two laps prior, and finished 2nd. Chassis needs a bit of sorting.

Marchesini wheels are already dropped off and getting sleeved for stock bearings. Forks are getting sent to Fitz for K-Tech 25mil kit. Rear shock is getting re-sprung with proper ride height adjustment, she does not like to turn. Web camshafts, Brembo P4 calipers, Z04 pads and T-drive rotors will all be installed before New Jersey. It will be one bad ass AHRMA Next Gen 2/3 weapon.

Looking for a decent race pipe now. Can't in good conscious race with that Yosh on there.

 

So it wasn't just me!
