And......if he hadn't high-sided himself to the moon and hurt himself before the summer break....and if he didn't get T-boned by Quattro before the summer break....and of course if he knew how to count laps and/or read pit boards.

    Damnit

To Pecco's credit, I do think he crashed to avoid hitting Fabio. That said, talk about a silly and stupid unforced error; it calls into question the racecraft required for a championship. I would not be at all surprised if those 8 points are the margin after Valencia.

I can't remember who it was who felt that I was premature this summer when I said that that Vietti's Moto 2 title chase was done, as he was still in the lead. Can I make the call now? :)

Not sure about that unless they get a Duc motor to go with the Kalex swingarm.

But did you see Nakagami trying to take his gloves off after the race? Goddamn he’s tough, regardless of his finishing position that was an accomplishment.

Not being able to count laps is one of the incidents I was referring to. And today, he had a mechanical of some sort after the sighting lap and during the warm-up lap. Both very uncommon and avoidable situations when compared to crashes or incidents on track with other riders.

    That’s some funny shit there!

    Chango Something clever!

It was electronic. The team reportedly forgot to load the actual race map into the ECU after using a "fuel saver map" for the sighting lap, according to the Paddock Pass Podcast.
