Someone finally saw the light! First time I've heard of a new car coming out with smaller wheels than the car it replaces. Honda went down 1 inch on the Civic Type R.
I don't even remember what it was about. Though I do remember catching a copious amount of shit for it.
Something about there was no valid performance reason for wheels to be bigger than 17 or 18 inches. Maybe you were at 17. That extra inch would have earned you a fraction more tolerance.
The camaro zl1 comes with 20s. When you get the 1le track pack option it changes the wheels to 19s. I believe they said it was a 36lbs weight savings with the 19s
There is no way it's been that long. I don't even think it's been 10 years. I wouldn't have remembered it so easily.
Hey, I was just trying to help. But if you're adamant that it's been 15 years since you were last on the right side of an argument, I ain't gonna fight you on that. Seriously, half that, at most.
You're officially old when 15 years seems like 5. My time line is accurate and solid. I stand by my statement. Both of them.
Well, shit… http://forums.13x.com/index.php?threads/car-rim-tire-question.65121/page-4#post-715922 How the f@#k did I remember that discussion ever taking place?
